Beach wheelchairs

Two beach wheelchairs and a floating wheelchair are available to hire from us, helping to ensure the pleasure and freedom of Lyme’s sandy beach is accessible to all.

The all-terrain wheelchairs can be hired for free by those who have trouble getting onto the beach and into the water.

They can be reserved in advance through the town council office on 01297 445175 or at enquiries@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk, or on the day if they are not already booked out.

They can be collected from the Marine Parade Shelters on the seafront, where one of our members of staff will be available to help.
