Anning Road
The main play facility for children is the Anning Road Playing Field, which is largely maintained by the town council.
The Jurassic and pirate-themed park, which was refurbished in 2015, includes equipment for children of all ages and physical abilities, with a pirate ship at its heart.
The facilities also include a basketball area and a football pitch, which is used by Lyme Regis Youth Football for training and matches. There are changing rooms and public toilets at the Candles on the Cobb Pavilion, built through voluntary labour and with funds raised from the iconic Candles on the Cobb event.
The field is also used by pupils at St Michael’s Primary School for sports’ sessions.
The field is completely enclosed and dogs are not permitted on the playing field or in the park.
Henry's Way
A smaller park with play equipment suitable for toddlers and small children is available at Henry’s Way.
The play area is completely enclosed and dogs are not permitted in the park.
