Filming permissions and charges
Lyme Regis has provided the backdrop to numerous film and television productions. Permissions are required and fees may be payable for filming on town council-owned land. Please be aware some land in Lyme Regis is owned by Dorset Council.
Evidence of £10 million public liability insurance and a risk assessment will need to be provided and the fee paid before filming can take place. There is no minimum notice requirement but we do ask that enquiries are made as far in advance as possible.
For advice and to make an application for filming, please contact adrianne.mullins@lymeregistowncouncil.gov.uk

The charges assume land or assets will remain open and normal services will not be disrupted. If this is not the case, charges will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis to account for any loss of income, costs incurred and service disruption.
Filming which requires internal use of assets will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
