Advanced Notice: Emergency 'Ash Dieback' tree works on A3052

Night-time road closures will take place on the A3052, at Trow Hill near Sidford from 31 March to 4 April (inclusive) between 7pm and 6.30am. Trees affected by ash dieback could fall on the road, and are a high risk to the public. During the work a fully signed diversion will be in place via Sidbury / Honiton / Axminster / Boshill Cross*. Stagecoach has been notified and buses will be rerouted.

Residents and businesses in the area have been notified. An update will be included in EDDC’s residents’ newsletter this week and local groups will be notified via social media.

* The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - A3052, Church Street, School Street, Two Bridges Road, A375, Sidmouth Road, A30 Honiton Bypass, Monkton Road, A35 Kings Road, A35, A358, A3052 and vice versa.
