DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
The Notice is required to strictly limit the use of WINDSOR TERRACE, LYME REGIS to vehicles less than 7.5 tonnes due to defects being identified within the highway, near the riverbank.
It came in to operation on 06 September 2024 and can remain in force for up to 21 days, however a temporary 18 month order is in the process of being made to allow for permanent repairs to be carried out.
The effect of this Notice is as follows;
[1] To impose a 7.5 tonne weight limit upon WINDSOR TERRACE, LYME REGIS for its entirety.
