This year sees Lyme Regis Bowling Club hold its 67th Open Tournament starting on Saturday 21st June. Starting in 1959 and only missing 1 year for Covid in 2020, the Tournament has been an annual highlight of the bowling year for the club. Over 100 bowlers from Lyme and across the region, participate across 5 different competitions throughout the week, culminating on Finals Day on the Thursday 26th June

The draw for this year's Tournament took place on Friday 7th March and for the first time involved our 3 Life Members: Sue Rowe, Ben Stephens and Brian Parsons who total over 100 years of membership between them at the club.

They, along with club President Angela Rattenbury conducted the draw for all 5 competitions with the Tournament Secretary, Carl Stephens overseeing proceedings with Lynn Honey, Kay Honey and Rom Hunt supporting. Sue and Ben ran the Tournament for a total of 35 years between, so the expertise in the room was high!

A huge thank you goes to the Tournament Committee for their 2025 efforts to date and to our sponsors, A J Wakely & Sons in continuing their support over the years.
