NOTICE of election has been given for Lyme Regis Town Council.
One town councillor seat is available on the council and nominations are now being invited.
Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ between 9am and 4pm on any working day after 19 September.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is 4pm on Friday 27 September.
An appointment must be made to deliver nomination papers by calling electoral services on 01305 838299 or emailing elections@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
Nomination papers can be obtained from the returning officer or from the Electoral Commission website.
If there are two or more candidates nominated, a poll will take place on Thursday 24 October.
