THE mayor of Lyme Regis, Cllr David Ruffle has resigned from Lyme Regis Town Council.
Cllr Ruffle has stood down from his post as mayor and councillor for personal reasons, with immediate effect.
Dorset Council has been informed of the resignation.
The deputy mayor, Cllr Philip Evans, will carry out any civic duties until a new mayor can be formally elected at the Full Council meeting on 4 September 2024.
