DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A3052, LYME REGIS between its junction with Coombe Street and its junction with Monmouth Street, a distance of approximately 120 metres.
The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 2000 and 0500 on 08 October 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 October 2024.
This Notice will enable Openreach in collaboration with National Grid to access underground structure and repair defect.
