DAVID Holland has been elected uncontested to Lyme Regis Town Council.
The deadline for nominations for the councillor vacancy was 4pm on Friday 12 July.
Dorset Council confirmed that the election was uncontested as only one nomination had been received for David Holland.
David will join the council for his first meeting at the Full Council on Wednesday 17 July.
