Spring in Bloom: Cherry Blossoms in Langmoor Gardens

View of Lyme Regis Cobb through Cherry Blossom Avenue in bloom

If you’ve been waiting for that perfect spring moment in Lyme Regis, it’s here — the cherry trees in Langmoor Gardens are now in full bloom!

Every year, we’re asked the same question: “When will the cherry trees blossom?” And while nature has its own calendar, the answer is usually April — and right on cue, they’ve arrived in all their soft pink glory.

Walking through the avenue of cherry trees is always a highlight of the season. Whether you're a resident who enjoys the gardens year-round or a visitor discovering the town for the first time, this is a sight you won’t want to miss. The delicate blossoms create a canopy of colour that transforms the path into something truly magical.

It’s the perfect time to take a stroll through the avenue and continue on to the woodland walk. The views across Lyme Bay are especially lovely this time of year, and there’s a certain energy in the air — that unmistakable sense of spring waking up the landscape.

Bring your camera, take your time, and soak in the beauty. Langmoor Gardens is always a peaceful escape, but right now, it’s something extra special.
