Our maintenance team has been hard at work recently, giving the Langmoor Room a much-needed refresh after its temporary stint as a staff rest facility. During the construction of the brand-new amenities hut, the Langmoor Room provided an essential base for the council’s external works team — offering shelter, rest, and respite throughout the project.
With the amenities hut now complete and fully operational, the focus has turned back to restoring the Langmoor Room to its original purpose: a welcoming community space available for hire. The maintenance team has rolled up their sleeves to carry out a thorough clean-up, tackle repairs, and ensure the room is ready to serve local groups, clubs, and residents once again.
Soon, it will once again provide a bright, airy setting for meetings, workshops, community events, and private hire — all with the stunning backdrop views of Lyme Regis beach just outside.
